Continuing a Brand Conversation with Signage
We consulted with Tier1 to discuss the finer details of the brand focus that the firm had in mind. For starters, the signage had to be a natural extension of the interior décor that is already present at the location. Secondly, all signage products had to feature brand details that would support or elaborate on brand awareness.
Illuminated lobby sign. Nothing catches the attention of customers faster than an illuminated lobby sign. Because Tier1 focuses its interior décor on a combination of brand colors, the walls are painted in an attractive dark tone. The white and orange of the logo stand out. That said, the client wanted to go for the gusto by encouraging a halo effect using bright white LEDs – another brand color!
Wall sign (“T”). Once again, our technicians combined the color play of the wall backdrop with the orange and white of the print. In this case, we used dimensional material displays to create an impressive brand-building tool.
Vinyl lettering. As a room frame, there is the border featuring white and black lettering on an orange backdrop. Look closely, and you will see a repetition of the brand-specific color play and font combination. This lettering frames the business’ motto and mission to be visible to workers and customers.
Conference room wall presentation. This sign is an attractive combination of a printed mural and dimensional lettering. This combination of display styles is an eye-catching presentation that focuses intently on the company’s motto of making transactions easy on the customer. Besides that, the installation of flush mounts and wall standoffs supports the visual appeal of the signage.
ADA-compliant signage. Tier1 follows the rules of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) when showcasing its room signage. For permanent spaces, the Act requires the sign to be geared toward visually impaired customers. In this case, this means the use of contrasting colors, Braille II dots, and dimensional lettering. Of course, there was no reason to sacrifice the brand message. Because we can assist our clients with the complete customization of their ADA markers, it was possible to remain faithful to the color play that Tier1 had chosen for its signage products.
Room signage. Separated from ADA-compliant signage, these products show the office occupant’s name and title. At the same time, the signs remain true to the branding requirements of the signage suite.

The combination of signs that Tier1 has chosen is an attractive suite that complements one another as well as the interior décor. Our sign shop used vinyl, dimensional materials such as acrylic and HDU, LEDs, and various mounting techniques to create a brand-focused signage setup that catches the attention of visitors to the location.
In this case, a signage suite was an extensive project that spanned multiple months. The design period required a close working relationship with the client. Moreover, our Project Manager, graphic artist, fabricator and install team worked closely with our client to create signs that fit perfectly in size, shape, and color for the anticipated installation points.
