The Walnut Grill is an American eatery and bar. Our staff initially began working with this company in 2020, when we put together a sign package for the new location in Bethel Park. When the business grew again and prepared for opening its newest location at 373 Washington Road, the management team contacted us for assistance with restaurant signage in Washington, PA.

Our team worked with the client on exploring the signage needs that would allow for a successful opening. We did a site survey, which allowed us to properly quote the project and complete the paperwork for the township’s permitting process. With the permit in hand, it was time to put together signage specs that meet the Walnut Grill’s brand standards. Because the client was on a tight deadline, our staff turned everything around quickly.

With the client’s approval, we went to the manufacturing and installation phase.

Multiple wall mural graphics. In total, our shop produced three cool wall murals using 3M high-quality vinyl with an overlaminate. Our production staff used images that the client provided. We resized them to fit the wall spaces in the restaurant. The high-resolution graphics are now attention-grabbers on the interior.

Channel Letter Signs for Restaurants in Washington PA

Exterior lighted channel letters on raceways. The building has three sides that have excellent customer exposure. Therefore, the client requested three different sizes of aluminum channel letters that are illuminated with LEDs. Our installers attached them to aluminum raceways. Sizes range from nine feet to 23 feet wide and vary in height from 18 inches to 30 inches. Once in position, we connected the power and tested the LEDs.

Die-cut vinyl displays. On the exterior, we created a flexible vinyl system whereby part of the “hours of operation” is a dry-erase material that lets the management team adjust hours due to COVID-19. Another vinyl graphics project consists of the interior images we placed on the bathroom doors. They feature a fork and spoon, designating the women’s and men’s rooms.

It is interesting to note that the client requested vinyl lettering for the exterior canopy at the entrance. This is not typically something that is easy to place on outdoor surfaces in the middle of Winter.  However, we used PanoRAMA X-Treme vinyl, which is the ideal material for this type of project. This feature put the finishing touches on the newest Walnut Grill location.

Tight deadlines are no problem for our team.  We routinely work with local businesses on the design, production, and installation of signage solutions that will move their businesses forward. For restaurants, we typically provide signage suites that include interior and exterior signs. That said, you do not have to limit yourself to the products the Walnut Grill has selected for its brand-focused setup.

Other restaurant clients have had excellent success with the addition of menu boards, flags, window wraps, frosted and etched vinyl booth separators, floor graphics, and awning customization. When you are ready to open the doors to a new location, connect with our sign facility and see what we can do to help.
