MECCO, headquartered just north of Pittsburgh, PA in Cranberry Twp., is an industry leader in industrial product marking and identification systems. The company was in need of a modern, outdoor building sign to feature their new company brand and we were delighted to work with them on the project. MECCO has been providing innovative part marking design solutions for global manufacturers and setting new standards for traceability quality for over 125 years.

Since 1889, MECCO’s knowledge of part marking methods and equipment, data scanners, and software programming has helped to shape the best technology solutions for a plethora of manufacturing clients.
MECCO wanted to upgrade its building sign to a more significant size and to include its new company brand. We shared designs and ultimately recommended a 16’ horizontal sign. The base was an aluminum pan frame painted in MECCO’s corporate blue color. The frame served as a base to which 1” thick acrylic letters that spelled “MECCO” were adhered. The letters stood off the pan frame to provide dimension. Once we had approval on the sign design, we worked with the local 
township office to submit the permit and to ensure the new sign was within code. After the permit was approved, we began fabrication and then scheduled installation with our client. The new outdoor building sign now adorns the MECCO headquarters.
